Job Description

Summary

The FLEX Videographer, Salesperson Video Program (SPV) at Nordstrom creates high quality and professional videos with Salespeople and Stylists for Nordstrom.com. This role focuses on providing a beneficial online customer experience while connecting customers with Nordstrom's people, stores, and fashion expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Set up video set daily including camera, audio, lighting, and fixtures in line with program guidelines.
  • Ensure proper lighting and focus for videos and b-roll.
  • Partner with on-set Associate Producer to provide feedback and guidance to talent on content.
  • Coach talent on set to create engaging and valued content.
  • Manage audio and audit content while filming.
  • Backup all footage after each shift and upload footage for post-production.
  • Assist in prep and shipping of product as needed.
  • Maintain audio and video supplies and equipment, and communicate needed repairs or replacements to regional Producer.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree with a focus in Audio and Video Production preferred.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, MS Office Suite.
  • 5 years Audio and Video Production experience.
  • 3 years of experience working in the fashion industry.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds (video equipment, props).
  • Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
  • Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
