Visual Associate

Summary

The Visual Associate creates engaging in-store visual environments and supports visual initiatives under the direction of the Visual Manager. The role includes merchandising the selling floor, building and changing window displays, styling mannequins, and maintaining presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain window displays and in-store visual presentations according to visual standards
• Execute promotional and sale set ups including presentation, lettering, and signage
• Assist Sales Support with trunk shows and personal appearance set ups and preparation
• Use carpentry and painting techniques for visual production tasks
• Follow directives from the Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team
• Participate in ad hoc visual and production responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years visual team experience in a major multi level department store with a portfolio of projects
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently
• Experience in painting techniques and basic production knowledge of materials
• Experienced in styling and fashion pulls with strong knowledge of fashion and art trends
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator preferred
• Proactive problem solving skills and ability to work with limited coaching
