Summary
Responsible for maintaining high standards of merchandising and presentation across Vancouver and Calgary boutiques, ensuring brand cohesion and maximizing commercial potential. Supports promotional activity, windows, sites and special events, and may assist other boutiques in Canada. Role involves travel between boutiques and occasional out of hours and weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Implement set designs, plans and window schemes to ensure brand consistency
- Style and dress mannequins and create window displays using creative lighting
- Maximize store layout and space to enhance visual impact and commercial potential
- Photograph windows and displays to create visual merchandising packs for other boutiques
- Support promotional activity, special events and in store presentations
- Provide feedback to Fashion Director and Boutique Managers and coach store teams
- Complete VM administration, weekly reports and schedule follow ups promptly
- Adhere to health and safety and security procedures while handling manual tasks
- Participate in training and meetings to apply high standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a visual merchandising capacity
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at various levels
- Excellent organisational, time management and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail, creativity and problem solving skills
- Project management experience is an asset
- Flexible, proactive and able to work independently with initiative
- Working knowledge of MS Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel between boutiques and work occasional weekends and out of hours
