Visual Merchandiser - Fashion Place

Summary

The Visual Merchandiser creates compelling fashion presentations and maintains visual standards to showcase current trends. This role partners with department managers to implement store displays, trim and window presentations, and supports in store lighting programs while adapting visuals to store needs. The schedule is variable based on business needs and store events.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and current trends
• Partner with department managers to uphold teach and maintain visual standards
• Support merchandising signing and implementation of directional displays at the store level
• Install and remove trim and window presentations for promotional events
• Support execution of the in store lighting program
• Customize visual presentations appropriately for the store
• Use tools and equipment to build and assemble visual props

Requirements

• Experience in merchandising and styling with knowledge of current fashion trends
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic construction skills for building and assembly of visual props preferred
• Ability to use ladders drills box knives and other miscellaneous tools
• Computer proficiency and comfort learning new applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs
