Visual Merchandiser

Summary

The Visual Merchandiser creates cutting-edge visual presentations for store interiors and windows, ensuring merchandise is displayed to company standards to drive customer engagement and sales. This role involves styling mannequins and hard goods, sourcing props, maintaining visual stockroom organization, and collaborating with store teams and external vendors to execute visual initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Style and dress mannequins and arrange hard good presentations
• Source and implement materials and props for displays
• Adhere to corporate visual guidelines and standards
• Partner with departments to execute visual initiatives and signage placement
• Rework presentations as merchandise sells down or new receipts arrive
• Rotate aged stock into blends to assist sell through
• Maintain the visual stockroom and merchandising collateral
• Respect merchandise protection and inventory requirements when selecting returns
• Ensure compliance with health safety privacy and cyber security measures

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of visual merchandising experience
• Related fashion school or visual merchandising courses or diploma
• Ability to source and implement appropriate materials and props
• Experience working with cross functional teams and external vendors
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain standards
• Physical ability to handle merchandise and set up displays
• Knowledge of inventory protection practices
