The Visual Merchandiser creates and maintains eye-catching retail presentations that reflect current fashion trends and uphold brand visual standards. This role partners with department managers to implement merchandising direction, install promotional displays and support in-store lighting and trim programs. The schedule varies based on store and department needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and current trends
• Partner with department managers to uphold teach and maintain visual standards
• Support merchandising signing and implementation of directional displays at the store level
• Install and remove trim and window presentations for promotional events
• Support execution of the in store lighting program
• Customize visual presentations appropriate to the store and department
• Use tools and equipment to construct and assemble visual props

Requirements

• Experience in merchandising and styling with knowledge of current fashion trends
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic construction skills for building and assembling props preferred
• Ability to use ladders drills box knives and other tools
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs
