Summary
The Visual Merchandising Manager South Central oversees visual merchandising across full price and outlet locations in the market, executing VM guidelines, window installations, visual strategies, and store standards to present the brand in an elevated luxury way while supporting store productivity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation and execution of VM guidance across free-standing and leased department locations.
- Liaise with market and store leaders to analyze business results and adjust visual strategy.
- Plan and implement regional adaptions of brand visual guidance with the merchant team.
- Create and share new visual ideas and suggestions for the local market to drive sales.
- Ensure stores are presented in an elevated luxury way through windows, installations, and product placement.
- Train and develop Visual Ambassadors and store teams and instill accountability for store standards.
- Organize and execute seasonal window displays refreshes and in-store installations per corporate timelines.
- Communicate with corporate VM team via calls photographic requests and weekly recaps.
- Organize and maintain props for all locations ensuring they are current and in good condition.
Requirements
- 5+ years visual merchandising experience preferably with a high-end luxury brand.
- Ability to travel to stores as required.
- Strong visual eye for detail style color palette and display composition.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator or InDesign preferable.
- Experience coordinating and installing window installations and using power operated tools and ladders.
- Excellent communication collaboration and problem solving skills.
- Strong analytical organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work a retail schedule including late nights early mornings weekends and holidays.
