Job Description

Summary

As a Visual Merchandising Manager at South Coast Plaza, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of visual merchandising at the boutique. This role involves extensive in-store merchandising, merging commercial and aesthetic concerns to enhance the store atmosphere, client experience, and business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and elevate visual displays across all selling floors.
  • Collaborate with store team and corporate partners to address sales challenges and formulate strategies.
  • Support selling events and animations through visual merchandising guidance and implementation.
  • Educate store team on visual merchandising standards and seasonal guidelines.
  • Conduct visual merchandising training during store meetings.
  • Aid in replenishment of items sold from displays.
  • Order and maintain display props to enhance visual presentation.
  • Provide feedback and images to Corporate and International Visual Merchandising departments.
  • Support window installations and collaborate with installation vendors.
  • Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization in compliance with policies.
  • Occasionally travel to support other locations as needed.
  • Assist with new store openings and renovations.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of visual merchandising experience in a luxury environment.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret guidelines and adapt them to Group standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
