Summary

The VM Production CNC Technician operates and programs the CNC router to produce visual merchandising components, working under the direction of the production manager. The role ensures safe, accurate, and high-quality machine operation while meeting production schedules and department deadlines. The technician is expected to troubleshoot production issues and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Program the CNC for production using provided software.
• Oversee and ensure the safe operation of the CNC and support equipment during production.
• Maintain accurate and high-quality operation of machinery at all times.
• Coordinate with the production manager on production schedules and machine-related timelines.
• Track manufacturing timelines to meet department deadlines and schedules.
• Research and resolve technical and production issues using appropriate resources.

Requirements

• 3-5 years cabinetry or fine woodworking experience.
• Knowledge of basic and advanced building techniques.
• Experience with AutoCAD and required CNC operating software.
• Ability to read and edit technical drawings.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel and work flexible schedules as needed.
