Senior HR leader responsible for shaping and executing talent and people strategies for the company from the New York City office. This role partners with senior leadership to drive workforce planning, succession, organizational design, change management, and HR transformation while aligning global best practices with local execution.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary HR business partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders.
- Develop and execute talent strategy including workforce planning and succession.
- Lead organizational assessment and change management efforts.
- Build and develop a high performing HR team and coach talent across levels.
- Oversee employee experience programs including engagement and career mobility.
- Collaborate cross functionally and with global partners to deliver initiatives.
- Ensure HR strategies are legally compliant and aligned with business goals.
- Leverage HR data and digital tools to inform decisions and measure impact.
- Drive adoption of global initiatives locally across corporate and retail environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive human resources leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR business administration or related field; master’s preferred.
- Proven experience as a change agent leading HR transformation.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence at senior levels.
- Deep HR generalist experience across talent acquisition performance management compensation and employee relations.
- Experience in the beauty or fast paced retail industry preferred.
- Exceptional communication coaching and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using people analytics and HR systems.
