Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Summary

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator supports the flow and optimization of departments within the fulfillment and distribution center. This role assists Operations Managers with start- and end-of-shift readiness, monitors productivity and safety metrics throughout the day, and drives operational tasks to maintain efficient flow. The coordinator also identifies process opportunities and communicates results to leadership and team members.

Responsibilities

• Support department goals for safety, quality, and performance while driving efficiency and problem resolution
• Create daily assignments and reassign team members to meet priorities and expedites
• Monitor productivity and hourly goals, communicating results to team members and operations managers
• Lead start-of-shift meetings, update communication boards, and support end-of-shift handoffs
• Complete safety observations and model safe behavior and judgement
• Coordinate with support teams such as safety, facilities, ICQA, and training to meet operational needs

Requirements

• 1+ years of warehouse experience in a fulfillment or distribution center
• Well-developed time management and prioritization skills
• Deep understanding of multiple warehouse departments, processes, and workflow
• Sense of urgency with strong follow-through and customer service orientation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and warehouse management systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
