Job Description

Summary

As a Warehouse Trainer at the Northern Cal Distribution Center, you will play a crucial role in training new hires, transfers, and existing employees. You will ensure that all employees have the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their duties effectively and safely.

Responsibilities
  • Train new hires, transfers, and conduct cross-training and retraining as needed.
  • Monitor and document employee progress during training sessions.
  • Ensure all training tools are up-to-date and effectively utilized.
  • Provide resources and answer questions for new and existing employees.
  • Offer timely feedback to department managers regarding employee performance.
  • Build rapport with new hires and support them during their initial employment period.
  • Set an example of reliability and safety for all employees.
Requirements
  • 6+ months experience within Supply Chain.
  • Strong ability to build relationships quickly with new hires.
  • Motivational and inspirational skills for individuals and groups.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Ability to provide sensitive feedback related to training.
  • Preferred department-specific or training experience.
