Summary
Perform skilled watch repair and maintenance tasks in a technical workshop, following brand specifications and RNA standards. Work includes dismantling and assembling movements, case preparation, encasing, quality control, and clock repairs while maintaining tools and a clean organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Maintain tools equipment and organize the workshop to RNA and brand standards.
- Dismantle timepieces remove straps separate movements and prepare repair boxes with correct labels.
- Disassemble and partially assemble movements following brand specifications and use cleaning machines and trays.
- Prepare and assemble case components glue crystals if needed and check water resistance.
- Encase movements install dials and hands and perform initial quality control tests.
- Perform clock repairs including movement replacement cleaning adjustment and encasing.
- Transfer repairs to proper departments and follow work assignments and workflow standards.
- Operate magnification equipment and maintain a safe clean working area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Encasing technician certification.
- High level of dexterity focus and attention to detail for small parts handling.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently to deliver high quality work.
- Experience working with luxury brands is a plus.
- Understanding of mechanical applications is a plus.
- Ability to use magnification equipment and work in a fast paced environment.
- Good communication and computer skills are a plus.
