Job Description

Summary

Provide high-quality service and repair for luxury quartz and mechanical timepieces to manufacturer specifications. Diagnose issues, perform movement and bracelet adjustments, polish and refinish cases, and complete quality control testing. Expected to meet productivity targets while maintaining an organized, calibrated workshop and adhering to brand-specific procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and service timepieces in line with brand guidelines.
  • Perform movement repairs, adjustments, and accuracy/performance testing.
  • Complete bracelet adjustments, casing, polishing, and refinishing to vendor specifications.
  • Execute quality control checks and ensure waterproofness where required.
  • Maintain tools, calibrated equipment, and an organized, safe work area.
  • Meet productivity expectations (expected minimum of two complete services per day).

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; technical school training (minimum one year) or equivalent professional experience.
  • SAWTA, WOSTEP, CW21 or similar watchmaking certification preferred.
  • 2+ years professional experience servicing luxury timepieces (3-5 years preferred).
  • Experience with escapement and hairspring adjustments, oiling, tolerances, and diagnosis of quartz and mechanical movements.
  • Ability to polish/refinish cases and bracelets, and to work accurately under pressure.
  • Basic verbal and written English, basic computer knowledge, and ability to remain seated for extended periods.
