Summary

Apply webbing to upholstery wood frames following quality and product specifications, using hand tools and maintaining production standards in a manufacturing environment. Perform tasks that support successful operations and adhere to safety and attendance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Apply webbing material to wood upholstery frames at specified tension
• Use hand tools such as staple gun, mallets, hammers and staple pullers
• Read and follow production tickets
• Perform other duties as required across work areas
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Lift and move furniture and accessories using appropriate equipment

Requirements

• Six months prior experience in a similar role with knowledge of upholstery product
• Able to read production tickets
• Adequate communication skills to interact with team members
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented with consistent attendance
• Capable of prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling and bending
• Ability to lift and mobilize furniture in excess of 100 pounds using equipment
