Job Description

Summary

The Wholesale Trainee will provide administrative, operational, logistical, and analytical support to the Wholesale team to help manage and grow wholesale accounts. This role delivers hands-on experience in luxury fashion wholesale including market preparation, order processing, reporting, and partner communications. The trainee will support showroom shoots, trunk shows, marketing assets, and sell-through analysis while learning core wholesale processes and account management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate market appointment scheduling and showroom seller assignments and support showroom shoot logistics.
  • Assist with order setup, data entry, order note generation, and distribution of PDF order confirmations.
  • Compile selling trends, update Style Selling Files, master orders, and maintain the Master Budget File and RTV Tracker.
  • Maintain Sample Tracker and Co-op Marketing Tracker; organize high-resolution assets and monitor product launch dates.
  • Support weekly and monthly sales reporting, SIS presentations, and HQ seasonal sell-through reporting.
  • Schedule product knowledge trainings, assist with EDI outreach and PO tracking, and support store visit briefings and VM communications.
  • Provide logistical coordination for client activations, events, and in-season or end-of-season actions including SOR, consignment, and RTV processes.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or a recent graduate in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills; advanced Excel is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, eager to learn about luxury wholesale, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A genuine interest in fashion and enthusiasm for supporting wholesale account management functions.
