Job Description

Summary

Paid 10-week summer internship supporting the High Jewelry women's design team. Interns collaborate on projects, develop a capstone presentation for senior leadership, and participate in professional and social learning events while gaining hands-on experience in jewelry design processes.

Responsibilities

  • Quality-check and polish gemstones and ensure certification before turnover deadlines
  • Manage stone procurement and ordering to meet style requirements
  • Collaborate with shop and CAD teams on exploratory projects and provide reference support
  • Create quick mock-ups and photoshops to support design discussions and approvals
  • Develop and organize a system for referencing waxes, castings, and test sets
  • Document materials by collection, setting style, and component to build a shared library
  • Work on assigned team projects and contribute to the capstone presentation

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate Jewelry Design program with minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Jewelry Design major required
  • Detail oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Excel
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively
  • Available to work in person five days a week during the internship dates
