Summary
The Workday Engineer 2 configures, maintains, and optimizes Workday systems for the Employee Experience team within HR Technology. This role focuses on integrations, business process design, reporting, security, and technical troubleshooting in a large enterprise environment and works in a hybrid capacity.
Responsibilities
- Configure and optimize Workday modules including HCM payroll recruiting and Learning
- Develop and manage complex integrations using Workday Studio EIB and Core Connectors
- Design and manage complex business processes within Workday
- Create and manage advanced reports using Workday Report Writer and other tools
- Configure and manage Workday security groups and roles to ensure compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration and performance issues
- Manage system changes and ensure smooth transitions
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Support change management activities related to Workday updates
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with Workday in a large enterprise environment
- Bachelor's degree in information technology Computer Science Data Science or similar
- Advanced skills in Workday Studio EIBs and Core Connectors
- Strong problem solving and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders
- Experience with Workday Report Writer and reporting tools
- Knowledge of Workday security configuration and compliance
- Software engineering background is a plus
