Job Description

Summary

As a Yield Manager at Nordstrom Media Network, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing advertising revenues through strategic inventory and demand management. You will be responsible for forecasting inventory, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring the long-term growth of the network.

Responsibilities
  • Forecast ad inventory supply and demand.
  • Develop pricing and bundling strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Build P&L forecast based on inventory forecast and expected sell-through rates.
  • Identify and evaluate new inventory opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, ad operations, product, analytics, and finance teams.
  • Monitor ad pacing, sell-through, and at-risk demand.
  • Analyze ad performance and adjust strategies.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews by channel and category.
  • Own inventory processes, data, and reporting.
  • Set requirements for inventory workflows to drive automation.
  • Collaborate with analytics to build dashboards for performance review.
  • Lead pricing discussions and implement updates into forecasting.
  • Enhance performance monitoring and establish alerting processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years in publisher-side inventory management.
  • 3 years in a retail media network.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Experience using publisher platforms like Google Ad Manager and Criteo.
  • Deep understanding of the retail media landscape.
  • Experience setting pricing for ad products and inventory.
  • Proven ability to communicate future plans to leaders.
  • Ability to make thoughtful decisions quickly.
  • Operate with urgency and embrace change.
  • Comfortable with setting and achieving lofty goals.
