Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape.
In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe.
Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.

Goyard is a Parisian trunk and leather goods house that traces its roots to 1792, when it began as Maison Martin, a box maker and packer that later became Maison Morel. In 1845 a 17-year-old apprentice named François Goyard joined the workshop. He took it over in 1853, renamed it Maison Goyard, and grew it from its original boutique at 233 rue Saint-Honoré. In 1892 his son Edmond created the Goyardine, the house's signature canvas. It is a durable, water-resistant weave of natural fibers, and its interlocking chevron motif refers to the family's roots as log drivers in Burgundy. Collector Jean-Michel Signoles acquired the house in 1998 and expanded the Goyardine palette beyond its historic black. Goyard still hand-paints its canvas in Paris and offers bespoke personalization, and it remains known for discretion, choosing to sell through its boutiques worldwide rather than through heavy advertising.
