Job Description

ATM is looking for a talented and driven Men’s Account Executive to join their wholesale team. As a Men’s Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with retail partners, driving sales growth, and developing and executing strategic business plans for their contemporary men’s product lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management of all Men’s wholesale business: majors, international, specialty and off price.
  • Generate sales through face-to-face contact with prospects and existing customers.
  • Contribute to seasonal projections as well as forecast sales, markdowns, and margin.
  • Collaborate with client accounts to define and execute creative strategies and identify opportunities to drive sales and protect profitability.
  • Execute and hit monthly targets identified and agreed upon by management.
  • Collect, analyze, and report in weekly selling.
  • Oversee order confirmation, EDIs, shipping, etc.
  • React to in-season sales executing reorders, swaps, etc.
  • Travel to accounts regularly.
  • Identify and execute in sesonal regional market.
  • Manage market prep and appointments as well as internal and external follow-up.
  • Work with Merchandising team on a consistent basis to evaluate merchandise assortments, positioning, visual standards, processes, staff proficiency, marketing tools and sales strategy.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to maintain awareness of the marketplace and to influence strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related experience in the advanced contemporary market and relationship management experience a strong plus.
  • Strong existing relationships with key accounts and specialty stores.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly and resourcefully to changing situations.
  • Ability to solicit and acquire new business.
  • Strong retail math and analytical skills.
  • Must be ready and willing to travel 40% domestically.
  • Men’s contemporary apparel experience is required with a proven track record in growing and developing business for an adjacent brand.
  • Influential and engaging verbal communication/presentation skills a must.
  • Knowledge of market and fashion trends, business environment, and competitors specifically within the department store market.
  • Experience using Joor, Nuorder, Bluecherry.
  • Salary range based on experience.
