Reporting to the Associate Manager of Studio Producers, the Studio Production Assistant is responsible for ensuring all steps of the production process are completed on time and on budget. The ideal candidate works closely with the Studio Producers to monitor all timelines, launch dates and website upload daily targets are met as per the agreed upon quality, Ssense identity and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

Producing – 80%

• Assist and support Producers & Associate Producers with day-to-day tasks
• Monitor the status of e-commerce production intra-day, constantly following up with the appropriate parties and recommending action plans to handle delays that impact the content, schedule or quality
• Execute quality control and ensure accurate information on all items (e.g. copy, visuals and specs) responding to and correcting discrepancies in a timely manner
• Execute daily uploads and visual merchandising based on the Ssense brand aesthetic and point of view
• Track launches and ensure the upload onto the website at the designated time is carried out successfully
• Work closely with the post production team (coordination, photography, and merchandise) to support all production schedules
• Perform data entry as required
• Report and escalate issues and risks accordingly

Training and Development – 10%

• Support the Producing team with onboarding related tasks, help coach and train a capable and talented team of Studio Producers and freelancers

Continuous Improvement – 10%

• Identify opportunities to improve daily operations and productivity as it relates to processes and stock flow
• Contribute to projects that will improve business performance through optimizing producing ways of working to support Studio art direction, visual production and other strategic opportunities

Qualifications

• College or University diploma in Fashion Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1 year of coordination and logistics experience, fashion or e-commerce environment preferred
• Understanding of performance metrics, content production processes and online merchandising tactics
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suites (specifically Excel and Google Sheets)
• Open to working evenings and weekends, as required
• Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and luxury designer labels
• Interest in fashion, styling and copywriting
• Bilingual in English and French
