Accounting Intern - Generation H

Summary

Five-month part-time accounting internship based at the corporate headquarters in New York City as part of the Generation H program. The role supports accounting operations including reconciliations, journal entries, dispute management and ad-hoc projects while providing professional development and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor investigate and report credit card disputes and coordinate responses with store directors
• Participate in periodic hard close activities
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Execute clearing activities in SAP
• Assist with monthly journal entries and true ups
• Support inter company bill back and reconciliation
• Contribute to lease accounting project
• Support audits and various ad hoc accounting projects

Requirements

• Enrolled in an Associates Bachelors or Masters degree program
• Availability for the full five month January to June internship period
• Excel expertise including Pivot Tables VLOOKUP Index Match and SUMIFS preferred
• Familiarity with SAP and retail POS software a plus
• Ability to work in person at the New York corporate headquarters
