Responsibilities- Complete month-end close duties accurately and timely, including recording and approving journal entries and performing variance analysis.
- Collaborate and interact with accounting partners in North America and globally.
- Identify, analyze, and conclude on proper accounting for complicated transactions and areas.
- Provide guidance for daily and monthly cash transactions.
- Prepare and review reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy.
- Communicate unreconciled items to management.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors for successful and timely completion of audits and reviews.
- Review and provide feedback on the work of others.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
- Create efficiency and process improvement in cash and banking accounting.
- Manage an accounting team and work cross-functionally with other departments.
- Handle special project work as assigned.
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with SAP and/or Oracle.
- Self-starter with problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of cash and banking activities.
- Ability to analyze problems and reach logical conclusions.
- Effective time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong business relationships in a team environment.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
