Summary
The Advanced Designer leads large-scale residential design projects and delivers a thoughtful, high-touch client experience. This role develops design concepts, builds lasting client relationships, supports a team of designers, and contributes to business growth in the local luxury market.
Responsibilities
- Lead residential design projects from concept through completion, including consultations, site visits, deliveries, and installations.
- Present design concepts, space plans, and product selections in alignment with the design ethos.
- Qualify and educate prospective clients and guide them throughout their design journey.
- Support and inspire designers while fostering creativity, collaboration, and design excellence.
- Drive revenue, productivity, referrals, and client satisfaction, and engage with the local design community.
Requirements
- 7+ years of interior design experience, including architectural design, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Practical expertise in new construction and renovation timelines, including custom kitchens, bathrooms, and millwork.
- Applied knowledge of interior construction and installation.
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field and NCIDQ certification preferred.
- Proficiency with Mac operating systems, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, Google applications, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related space-planning or rendering programs preferred.
