Allocator

Summary

The Allocator supports inventory deployment and allocation across Nordstrom Full Price and Rack businesses. This hybrid role uses analytical tools and inventory data to guide distribution decisions and improve location performance.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders and reallocations using Blue Yonder Allocation.
• Develop allocation strategies to distribute inventory efficiently and accurately across stores.
• Analyze inventory and business performance and share recommendations with cross-functional partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory placement, processes, and accuracy.
• Partner with Merchandising, Planning, and Inventory teams to support business goals.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Availability to work in the Seattle corporate office at least four days per week.
