Allocator

Summary

Responsible for delivering strategic product allocation using analytical expertise and tools such as Blue Yonder JDA Allocation, Item Intent, MRI Reporting and Assortment Builder. Works collaboratively to develop allocation strategies that align with merchandising vision and customer needs while supporting continuous improvement and waste reduction.

Responsibilities

• Provide Blue Yonder JDA Allocation support for full price and off-price businesses
• Execute buys and reorders in allocation systems based on merchant direction
• Develop and implement allocation strategies to optimize inventory deployment
• Act as subject matter expert within the inventory deployment suite
• Analyze data and reports to inform allocation decisions
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to meet customer and business needs
• Adapt to changing priorities and support business needs with flexibility
• Contribute to waste reduction and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in retail merchandise planning or inventory management
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaboration
• Ability to work in a fast paced and evolving environment
• Demonstrated productivity and time management
