Alterations Associate

Summary

The Alterations Associate alters, resizes, and restyles merchandise sold in the store. The role supports fitters in evaluating fit, alterability, and garment construction while ensuring completed work meets quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Alter garments, including adjusting seams, sleeves, shoulders, coats, collars, and pockets.
• Operate and maintain sewing equipment and inspect completed work for quality.
• Complete assigned alterations and interpret written and oral instructions.

Requirements

• Experience in tailoring or an industrial sewing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read English, understand instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.
