Part time alterations associate responsible for performing garment alterations and providing attentive in-store service in the Sherman Oaks location. Works with customers to assess alteration needs, execute tailoring tasks, and ensure garments meet quality standards while maintaining store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of garment alterations such as hemming, taking in, letting out, and repairs
• Consult with customers to determine alteration requirements and provide professional recommendations
• Measure customers and garments accurately to ensure proper fit
• Operate sewing machines and tailoring equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Manage alteration tickets and track orders to ensure timely completion
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and care for tools and equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in garment alterations or tailoring
• Proficiency with sewing machines and hand sewing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and garment construction knowledge
• Good customer service and communication skills for in-store consultations
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle fabric materials
