Job Description

Summary

The Analyst, Global Forecasting is responsible for developing, maintaining, and publishing forecasting reports to support sales performance and demand planning. Reporting to the Director, HQ Forecasting, the role analyzes sell-in and sell-out data, monitors KPIs, and translates complex datasets into actionable insights. The analyst will also manage forecasting masterdata and support cross-functional forecasting initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement weekly and monthly forecasting reports for business units and regions
  • Prepare and publish sell-in and sell-out performance reports at market and retailer levels
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs, identify trends and variances, and provide recommendations to improve forecast accuracy
  • Maintain and manage global demand planning masterdata to ensure data integrity and alignment across teams
  • Automate reporting processes and participate in forecasting model and tool enhancement projects
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 1-4+ years of experience in data analysis, forecasting, reporting, or a similar function
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas)
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) and familiarity with forecasting software (e.g., DynaSys) preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related quantitative field
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; familiarity with master data management principles is desirable
