Apprentice Optician

As an Apprentice Optician at Pearle Vision in Bellevue, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the optical needs of our clients. You will work closely with experienced opticians to ensure that customers receive the best eyewear solutions and care.

• Greet customers promptly and provide attentive service to meet their needs.
• Guide customers through the shopping process and assist them in selecting suitable frames and lenses.
• Review prescriptions and identify special needs under guidance.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets Pearle Vision's standards and customer requirements.
• Operate the software system accurately to process customer and prescription information.
• Maintain the appearance of the store and ensure displays are clean and organized.
• Inform management of potential safety issues and demonstrate safe work habits.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Registered in State licensure program or equivalent schooling.
• Previous optical and retail experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with cash register operations.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
• Aware of current fashion trends and strong sales skills.
