Job Description

Summary

The Architecture & Design Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining technical fixture and finish documentation for new stores and renovations across regions. This role coordinates with manufacturers and store planning teams to ensure design intent, quality, and cost targets are achieved. The manager also oversees finish sample libraries and reviews shop drawings, prototypes, and production to uphold standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings and specifications for store fixtures, displays, signage and millwork.
  • Maintain a centralized library of technical fixture drawings and finish specifications for each store concept.
  • Support value engineering initiatives to meet project cost targets and site-specific fixture requests.
  • Manage finish sample library and replenishment to ensure availability for the A&D studio.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, mock-ups, prototypes and finish samples with manufacturers to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with procurement and planning teams on supplier qualification, onboarding and planning guideline development.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in high-end millwork, fixture, furniture or cabinetry production.
  • Superior understanding of millwork detailing, materials specifications, fabrication techniques and installation methods.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and experience working with global manufacturers and cross-functional teams.
