Summary
The Construction Project Manager will lead construction projects across the Americas for Kering and its Maisons, overseeing luxury retail and corporate office builds from inception to completion. The role is responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and design. The position requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and procurement to manage schedules, budgets, and risks.
Responsibilities
- Develop project briefs, cost estimates, and schedules and align stakeholders on milestone dates and budgets
- Maintain accurate project costs and timelines using project dashboards and reporting tools
- Coordinate internal teams, external consultants, general contractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones
- Lead regular project meetings to update progress, resolve issues, and align objectives
- Review technical and design drawing packages to ensure design intent and project objectives are met
- Identify and manage schedule and budget risks with stakeholders, consultants, and vendors
- Conduct site visits throughout project timelines to verify work quality and compliance with design standards
- Partner with Procurement to manage tenders for architects, contractors, and millworkers
- Promote sustainable construction practices and support projects in achieving LEED certification
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail store planning, architecture, or construction, with luxury retail experience preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Proven experience managing small to medium construction projects and ensuring compliance with budgets, schedules, and design intent
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills with excellent oral and written communication
- Sustainability accreditations such as LEED AP or WELL AP preferred
- Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD and 3D tools), Adobe Creative tools (Photoshop, InDesign), and Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
