Senior Manager, Store Development & Planning

Summary

The Senior Manager, Store Development & Planning leads store planning and development projects across the Americas, from location feasibility and design through construction and turnover. This role coordinates internal teams, consultants, contractors, and business partners to deliver retail projects on time, within budget, and in line with luxury standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze potential store locations and develop project budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate design teams and architects, support drawing development, and oversee design and construction reviews.
• Lead pre-construction activities, including consultant selection, bidding, permit monitoring, and compliance coordination.
• Manage approximately five retail construction projects annually, coordinating construction, turnover, and punch-list completion.
• Track project costs, process invoices, coordinate owner-supplied items, and maintain status reports.
• Travel as needed, up to 30%.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of relevant experience in store design, construction management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint.
• Expertise in construction materials, methods, schedules, costs, and budgets; ability to interpret architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of building codes, permitting, ADA, energy, and related compliance requirements.
• Ability to evaluate and negotiate bids, work effectively with partners, and travel up to 30%.
• Availability to work at least four days per week in the New York office and lift up to 40 pounds as required.
