Area Retail Director - Northwest

Summary

The Area Retail Director leads the sales and business strategy for the Northwest region, overseeing a team of Store Directors and providing leadership and coaching to Store Leaders. The role is accountable for driving sales development, delivering excellence in the client experience, and supporting talent development and succession planning. The position reports to the Vice President of Retail and requires significant travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and coach Store Directors and Store Leaders to achieve performance and client experience targets.
• Align store operations with corporate partners and implement regional business plans and KPIs (CRM, sales, client experience).
• Develop targeted plans for High Jewelry business in partnership with High Jewelry and Merchandising teams.
• Support recruiting and relationship-building with HNW prospects and cultivate new business opportunities through networking.
• Oversee operational execution, loss prevention, budgeting, expense control, gifting and client entertainment allocation.
• Partner on product launches, events and market visibility activities; travel to regional markets and corporate meetings (up to 75%).

Requirements

• Multi-store and/or high-volume luxury retail experience required; high-end jewelry experience preferred.
• Proven people and performance management skills, including coaching and succession planning.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and represent the brand at meetings and events.
• Ideally based in the Las Vegas or San Francisco areas.
