Summary
The Area Sales and Education Executive provides sales and training strategy and support for an assigned territory with emphasis on Sephora Ulta and Nordstrom accounts. This role drives sales through strategic call cycles event planning and in-store trainings while managing budgets and travel to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals in assigned territory through strategic call cycle and event planning
- Manage freelance and travel budgets to support the territory
- Conduct in-store trainings at Sephora Ulta and Nordstrom in line with brand expectations
- Plan and execute in-store events targeting 8-10% MOB from events
- Work with store management on visual placement and merchandising standards
- Establish and develop relationships with store BAs leadership DMs CMs and stylists
- Lead partnership with Sephora BAs Nordstrom CMs and clients to provide in-store support
- Maintain regular communication with field team and manage travel and schedules
- Use company reports and tools to create customized in-store strategies
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of beauty industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Sephora and Nordstrom environments preferred
- Ability to travel heavily within the territory and flexible work hours
- Capable of continuous standing walking and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work remotely once a week
- Must be proactive self motivated and able to motivate others
