Summary
The Area Sales and Education Executive drives sales and training strategy across an assigned territory with emphasis on Sephora Ulta and Nordstrom accounts. This role builds relationships with store partners, manages in store trainings and events, oversees merchandising standards, and supports recruitment and development of selling.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals through strategic call cycles and event planning
- Manage freelance and travel budgets to support the territory
- Conduct in store trainings at Sephora Ulta and Nordstrom in line with brand expectations
- Plan and execute in store events with brand initiatives
- Work with store management for visual placement and merchandising
- Develop strong store level relationships with BAs store leadership and department managers
- Train Fresh selling specialists store personnel and partner staff for launches and core categories
- Maintain regular communication with field team and manage schedule and travel
- Use company reports and tools to create customized in store strategies
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of beauty industry experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Sephora and Nordstrom environments preferred
- Ability to motivate others work as part of a team and proactively approach clients
- Must be able to travel within the territory and heavy travel driving required
- Flexible hours to meet job objectives and ability to stand walk and lift up to 40 lbs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work remotely once a week
