Artisan Leather Sewing Repairs

Summary

Responsible for repairing leather and other luxury products from beginning to end in accordance with quality specifications. Works under the supervision of the Client Care Services Production Supervisor and performs sewing, painting, cutting, and other repair tasks to restore handbags, wallets, luggage, and related items. Requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently and within a team to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Repair products to company quality specifications and guidelines
• Perform sewing, painting, cutting, and other repair operations as required
• Use manual tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Examine finished products to verify conformance to quality standards and report discrepancies to supervisor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and demonstrate good attendance and punctuality
• Participate in improvement projects and identify opportunities to enhance processes
• Work fully onsite Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and be available for overtime as business demands

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0-3 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Pass manual dexterity/sewing test
• Knowledge of sewing on leather or canvas is a plus
• Basic math skills for measuring; basic computer skills are a plus
• Detail, quality, and safety oriented with the ability to complete repairs from start to finish
