Asset Protection Agent - Brea Mall

Summary

The Asset Protection Agent helps protect customers, employees, merchandise, and store assets. This role supports theft prevention and investigations, inventory accuracy, and emergency response while partnering with store teams and local law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve theft, investigate incidents, and prepare accurate reports.
• Use surveillance, reporting tools, and RFID data to identify trends and support investigations.
• Implement shrink reduction and merchandise protection practices.
• Respond to safety and security incidents and participate in emergency response training.
• Partner with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and law enforcement.

Requirements

• Use sound judgment and remain calm in a fast-paced environment, including during safety incidents.
• Demonstrate strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality, accountability, initiative, and ownership.
• Work a flexible schedule and meet applicable state and local licensing requirements.
• Experience in investigations, asset protection, or security procedures is preferred.
