Asset Protection Agent - Menlo Park

Summary

The Asset Protection Agent protects customers, employees, merchandise, and store assets by preventing, investigating, and resolving theft and safety incidents. This role partners with store leadership, local law enforcement, and emergency response teams to maintain a safe store environment and support shrinkage reduction efforts. Agents use surveillance, RFID, reporting tools, and investigations to identify trends and recover merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve theft incidents, conduct quality apprehensions, and adhere to AP policy and procedures.
• Monitor video systems and use reporting tools and surveillance to identify theft trends and support investigations.
• Leverage RFID and exception reporting to investigate merchandise movement and inaccuracies.
• Prepare thorough reports for incidents, recoveries, investigations, and policy violations and testify in court when summoned.
• Support store safety by responding to emergencies, participating in the Emergency Response Team, and leading security audits and shrinkage awareness efforts.
• Build partnerships with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and local law enforcement.

• Experience with investigative, asset protection, or security procedures preferred.
