Summary

The Asset Protection Agent helps keep customers, employees, and brands safe while protecting store merchandise and reducing shrinkage. The role responds to security and emergency incidents, supports investigations, and promotes inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and respond to theft using surveillance, reporting tools, and sound judgment.
• Support internal theft investigations, merchandise protection, and inventory accuracy efforts.
• Respond to security, safety, and emergency incidents and participate in Emergency Response Team training.
• Prepare incident reports, support security audits and training, and partner with store leaders and local law enforcement.
• Testify in court when summoned.

Requirements

• Make accountable decisions and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and a calm demeanor when addressing safety issues and aggressive behavior.
• Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a security license is required in certain listed locations.
• Experience in investigations, asset protection, or security procedures is preferred.
