Summary
Support loss prevention, safety and security initiatives at the supply chain distribution center to safeguard people, assets and property. Perform security screening, investigations of shrinkage and incidents, monitor access and physical security systems, and collaborate with management and law enforcement when needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with building personnel and respond to incidents with urgency
- Monitor entry and exit using identification badges and conduct security screening
- Scan individuals and perform visual searches of bags and carry-in items
- Conduct daily warehouse walks and audit physical security infrastructure
- Review camera footage and respond to building alarms
- Initiate and conduct investigations of loss and follow through on resolutions
- Complete incident and accident documentation and forward for follow up
- Support opening and closing the building and perform special projects as directed
- Maintain confidentiality on security and personnel matters
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in customer facing service role, ideally in loss prevention, security or risk management
- Supply chain facility experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively to safety and security issues
- Proven accountability, initiative and ownership in prior roles
- Ability to work weekends and overnight shifts as necessary
