Summary
The Asset Protection Agent helps keep customers, employees, and store assets safe while reducing merchandise loss. The role investigates theft, supports emergency response, and partners with store teams and local law enforcement.
Responsibilities
- Resolve theft incidents and conduct apprehensions in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Use surveillance systems, reporting tools, and RFID data to identify theft trends and investigate merchandise inaccuracies.
- Support internal theft investigations, shrink reduction plans, security audits, and merchandise protection standards.
- Respond to and report security, safety, and emergency incidents; participate in emergency response training.
- Prepare incident and investigation reports, testify in court when summoned, and build partnerships with store teams and local law enforcement.
