Summary
The Asset Protection Agent helps keep customers, employees, and brands safe while protecting store assets and reducing merchandise shrinkage. The role supports emergency response, investigates theft and inventory concerns, and partners with store teams and local law enforcement.
Responsibilities
- Identify, investigate, and resolve theft, including conducting apprehensions in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Use surveillance, reporting tools, and RFID data to identify theft trends and investigate merchandise discrepancies.
- Promote shrink reduction and merchandise protection standards, and support security audits and awareness training.
- Respond to and report security, safety, and emergency incidents; participate in Emergency Response Team training.
- Prepare incident and investigation reports, partner with store leaders and law enforcement, and testify in court when summoned.

- Initiative, accountability, and flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs.
- Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; investigative, asset protection, or security experience is preferred.
