Summary

The Asset Protection Agent helps keep customers, employees, merchandise, and store spaces safe. The role reduces shrinkage, investigates theft, supports emergency response, and partners with store teams and local law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft and investigate internal and external incidents using surveillance, reporting, and other available technology.
• Implement shrinkage reduction plans, merchandise protection standards, and security audits.
• Respond to safety and security incidents, participate in emergency response training, and prepare complete incident reports.
• Partner with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and law enforcement, and testify in court when summoned.

Requirements

• Use sound judgment and remain calm when responding to safety issues and aggressive behavior.
• Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, confidentiality, accountability, and ownership skills.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements and work a flexible schedule.
• Experience in investigative, asset protection, or security procedures is preferred.
