Responsibilities

• Conduct regular store patrols to deter and detect theft and fraud
• Investigate incidents of theft, vendor fraud, and internal loss
• Work with store management and local law enforcement when necessary
• Monitor surveillance systems and review footage for suspicious activity
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
• Assist with training staff on loss prevention procedures
• Participate in inventory audits and shrink reduction initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in loss prevention or security
• Strong observational and investigative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable interacting with the public and handling confrontational situations
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and basic security technology
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
