Asset Protection Detective - Roosevelt Field

Summary

As an Asset Protection Detective at the Roosevelt Field location, you will protect company assets, deter theft, and ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and associates. You will conduct investigations, gather and preserve evidence, and partner with store leadership and local law enforcement. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Garden City, NY.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into theft, fraud, and internal loss and document findings.
• Monitor sales floor and back-of-house areas to deter loss through visible presence and surveillance.
• Apprehend suspects when appropriate and coordinate with local law enforcement.
• Collect and preserve evidence, complete detailed incident reports, and maintain chain of custody.
• Work with store management to develop loss prevention strategies and provide training as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, security, or law enforcement preferred.
• Strong investigative, observational, and interview skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical duties, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to incidents.
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
