Asset Protection Investigator

Summary

As an Asset Protection Investigator you will be part of the Loss Prevention team working on-site to prevent and investigate internal and external theft and fraud, support store safety, and protect people, products, and profits. You will report to the Assistant Loss Prevention Manager and collaborate with store operations to reduce loss and support store initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety of customers, employees, and the store
• Assess and assist in emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance to identify theft and fraud indicators
• Conduct internal and external investigations and document incidents
• Prepare reports on theft incidents, recoveries, accidents, and audits
• Reduce inventory loss through audits and training
• Support and participate in store operations programs
• Respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Work a flexible schedule based on store needs

Requirements

• Experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection
• Customer focused mindset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer software proficiency
• Investigative and conflict management skills
• Ability to assess and respond to emergencies
• Flexible availability to meet store scheduling needs
• Ability to work on-site in assigned store
