Asset Protection Investigator

Summary

Responsible for preventing loss from external and internal theft and fraud by conducting investigations and surveillance onsite at the assigned store. Works with the Loss Prevention team and reports to the Assistant Loss Prevention Manager to protect people, product, and profits while supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety of customers employees and the store
• Assess and assist in emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance to identify theft and fraud indicators
• Conduct internal and external investigations and document incidents
• Prepare reports on theft incidents merchandise recoveries accidents and audits
• Reduce and control inventory loss through audits and training
• Support and participate in store operations programs

Requirements

• Experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection
• Customer focused mindset
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer software proficiency
• Investigative and conflict management skills
• Ability to respond to changing directions and unexpected situations
• Flexible availability to work based on store needs
