Asset Protection Investigator

Summary

The Asset Protection Investigator helps protect customers, associates, and company assets at a Saks OFF 5TH store. This role monitors store security, investigates theft and safety incidents, and supports shortage prevention efforts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the workplace through patrols, cameras, and other surveillance methods.
• Investigate internal and external theft, shoplifting, accidents, and liability claims; document findings and maintain evidence.
• Support shortage strategies, audits, safety meetings, and Asset Protection training.
• Maintain physical security standards and respond to alarms and emergencies, including after-hours calls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid security license and ability to meet applicable state or local licensing requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and working knowledge of retail security and information systems.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
